Welcome to the online home of the Benbrook Early Childhood PTA.
We are a local PTA unit supporting parents of children from newborn to kindergarten age. We are not associated with any particular school, but lend our support to Benbrook Elementary, Westpark Elementary, Waverly Park Elementary, and Burton Hill Elementary. Being affiliated with the National and Texas PTAs, we can provide unlimited access to outstanding programs, educational and leadership training, as well as the opportunity to participate in child advocacy legislation that affects every community. This unit strives to make every member a better informed parent and a more active advocate for the future of our children. Also, getting involved in PTA before your children begin elementary school makes a smoother transition to becoming an active parent and advocate in the school systems.
We are also a social group. Aside from our outstanding parent education programs, we also have fun, fabulous children's activities like holiday parties, field trips, and play dates, scheduled each and every month. Not to mention the grown-up activities we offer - like Lunch Bunch, Coffee Club, and Bunco. We do like to have fun. Many long-lasting friendships have been made in our 35 year existence, for the children as well as the parents.
